Ms. Gordon graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology. She is a Registered Engineer and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Ms. Gordon’s experience includes both the oil and gas industry and environmental and natural resource studies. Beginning in May of 1999 as an assistant geosystems engineer with INTERA Incorporated (formerly knows as Duke Engineering & Services), Ms. Gordon’s responsibilities included development of multi-phase flow models for quantitative predictions using geostatistical methods including chemical floods, and fate and transport models; development and execution and site characterization and remediation plans, coordination and correspondence with local, state and federal agencies for the development of government documents, plans, and strategies for various Superfund sites, development of regional scale models for water resources studies and planning and litigation support for causes involving subsurface contamination.

Kimberly D. Gordon joined Platt, Sparks & Associates in September of 2007 and is a Reservoir Engineer. Ms. Gordon’s responsibilities include reservoir engineering studies, economic analysis, reserve determination, well log analysis, environmental studies related to oil spills including fate of contaminants of concern, simulation studies, field development studies with an emphasis on enhanced recovery techniques, operational studies and the review and filing of regulatory applications with the Texas Railroad Commission. Ms. Gordon has prepared detailed technical reports and provided support for expert witness testimony before State and Federal courts as well as the Texas Railroad Commission.
